Baltimore Orioles rookie Jackson Holliday has been named as the cover for the Topps Chrome Update series. The card series is released at the end of every season and features the game's biggest names.

In an update by Holliday on Instagram, the former #1 baseball prospect shared a photo of his newly minted card and encouraged people to collect it.

The 2024 Chrome Update series is the first of its kind containing an autographed patch by a debuting player. Last season, the league implemented a project in collaboration with Topps and its parent company Fanatics, to give a debuting player his own patch.

The patch would then be authenticated and sealed together with the baseball card for a lucky fan to draw.

In last year's edition, St. Louis Cardinal Jordan Walker and Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. were featured on the cover of the update.

Jackson Holliday's brother Ethan tops prospect charts

Like their father Matt before, Jackson and Ethan Holliday are making a buzz in the baseball world. Jackson was the top draft pick in the 2022 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles, while his brother Ethan is starting to make a name for himself as well.

Having played for the same high school that his father and older brother did, Stillwater High School in Oklahoma — the 17-year-old is now the #1 baseball prospect in Perfect Game's Top 500 for 2025.

According to Ethan's bio, he's registered as a shortstop and bats with the left and fields with the right hand, like his older brother Jackson. The Oklahoma native has committed to Oklahoma State University for college ball.

Interestingly, Ethan's grandfather Tom coached in OSU for 25 years, while his uncle Josh is manning the same position. With the pressure of having top-caliber players like his dad Matt and brother Jackson to follow, it will be interesting to see if Ethan can deliver on the big stage.
