Jackson Holliday's wife, Chloe, has joined the Baltimore Orioles rookie on their LA trip, with the team set to start a three-game series starting Tuesday. The couple arrived on Monday, as Chloe updated on social media.
Chloe, a fitness enthusiast, shared her fitness secret, posting photos of what she does on a road trip. The images she shared included her organic breakfast, pilates session (at Avenir Pilates) and shopping for healthy stuff at Erewhon Market.
"Did you even go to cali ifff @erewhon," she wrote in one story.
"Always finding a pilates studio near me," she wrote in another story.
For Jackson Holliday, the trip to Dodger Stadium will be very important, both on an individual and personal level. The Orioles have fallen two games behind the New York Yankees, who won Monday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Meanwhile, Holliday has been in a slump in the last 10 games, hitting only 6-for-32 (.187). He needs to hustle up if he wants to save himself a spot when the postseason arrives.
How Chloe helped Jackson Holliday improve his swing
Jackson Holliday didn't have the best of the starts to his major league career earlier this year, going 2-for-34 in his first 10 games.
The Orioles sent him back to the minors for improvement. For Holliday, coming back to the majors was important, and he finally received his second chance when he returned on July 31.
After making his much-improved comeback, Holliday, on Foul Territory, mentioned how his wife Chloe found something unusual in his swing.
"Chloe usually watches me train, trying to figure everything out. She once told me it (my swing) looked a bit different," Holliday said (25:12). "She's the best. Just having her watch me practice helped me know I need to sort out my swing."
In his second stint, Holliday is hitting 217 with 18 hits, five home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored in 24 games.
