With the 2024 year ended, Jackson Merrill took to Instagram on Wednesday and reflected on the season, sharing some of his most memorable moments. He also wrote a heartfelt caption under the post:

There is also a clip showcasing a fully packed Petco Park, where Jackson Merrill can be seen playing in front of a roaring crowd. One photo featured his parents, Josh and Jennie Merrill, attending one of his games, while others showed Merrill posing with his girlfriend, Sammie.
Sammie also shared her reaction to the post, commenting:

Other individuals featured in the pictures included Jackson Merrill’s teammates Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado. The Padres are coming off a stellar 2024 season, finishing second in the NL West with a 93-69 record.
The team then swept the Atlanta Braves 2-0 in the National League Wild Card Series. However, their postseason run came to an end in the Division Series, where they were defeated 3-2 by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jackson Merrill and his girlfriend Sammie welcomed 2025 with a bang. The couple celebrated the New Year by attending the Proper Music Festival, held at the San Diego Padres’ home stadium, Petco Park.
The event featured several notable musical artists, including John Summit and Lane 8. On Tuesday, Merrill took to Instagram to share some moments from their celebration.
In the image posted, Sammie can be seen posing at the event with a packed crowd in the background and the performances taking place on stage. Another snapshot shows both Sammie and Jackson Merrill posing gleefully.
Merrill was selected by the San Diego Padres in the first round of the 2021 MLB Draft. He finished the 2024 season with a .292 batting average, hitting 24 homers, 90 RBIs, and a .826 OPS.
