Jackson Merrill's girlfriend Sammie Quinn highlights supermodel Candice Swanepoel's return to Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after 6 years

Jackson Merrill's 2024 season will go down as one of the best offensive rookie seasons in MLB history. Alongside his contributions on the field, his off-field life has also gotten prominence with certain focus being put on his girlfriend Sammie Quinn and her interests.

In a recent video reposted on her Instagram story, Quinn showed Candice Swanepoel walking the runway at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The veteran model wore a two-piece nude-colored attire with wings clipped to the side and the words 'Victoria's Secret' etched on them.

The South African model is one of many veteran Victoria's Secret girls who made a return to performing. This was because the annual show itself made a return after six years. The VS Fashion Show was canceled in 2019 in the aftermath of the #MeToo movement.

While Swanepoel was on the stage, South African singer Tyla also made her appearance. She performed one of her hit songs while the models walked the stage.

Jackson Merrill's 2024 season can be capped off with the ROTY award

Despite the San Diego Padres suffering an early exit in the postseason in the National League Division Series at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jackson Merrill remains one of the frontrunners to take home the National League Rookie of the Year award. In 156 regular season games, he has 90 RBIs with 24 home runs.

The only significant challenge comes from Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes who has some video-game numbers with a 1.96 ERA in 23 starts this season. The major difference is that Skenes made his debut in May, while Merrill was chosen as a starter by the Padres since Opening Day. This might be decisive at the year-end awards voting.
