For any professional athlete, fitness is the most important thing to perform at the highest level to unleash their potential in their respective sport. This is true for Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran who is known for his intense upper body workout routine that includes cable chest flys, chain curls, dumbbell skull crushers, incline barbell bench presses, kettlebell rows, and banded speed push-ups.

Duran's workout focuses on increasing upper body strength, endurance, and practicing athletic movements. Fans from not only the Red Sox but also other teams seem to admire his demanding workout routine.

Jarren Duran recently shared a humorous interaction with a Philadelphia Phillies fan who attempted to replicate his rigorous workout routine. On Thursday, Duran reposted a video from the fan's account on Instagram, showing the fan copying the Red Sox star's workout. Duran reacted to the fan's effort by adding a caption to his Instagram story:

The Boston Red Sox are going through a challenging offseason as they strive to maintain a balanced and competitive roster for the 2025 season. Nevertheless, they have taken significant steps to improve and strengthen their roster for the upcoming campaign.

On Friday, the Red Sox reached a one-year agreement for 2025 with outfielder Jarren Duran. According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, the one-year contract includes a club option for 2026. Duran will earn $3.75 million in 2025 plus an $8 million club option for 2026 (or a $100,000 buyout).

This new deal between the Red Sox and the All-Star outfielder ensures that both the team and the player have avoided arbitration ahead of the 2025 season.

Meanwhile, Duran had a solid 2024 season with the Boston Red Sox. He played in 160 games, posting a .285/.342/.492 batting line with 75 RBIs. Additionally, he managed to smash 21 home runs and steal 34 bases.

For his performance in the 2024 season, Jarren Duran came eighth in the American League Most Valuable Player voting and earned his first All-Star selection.
