Jeremy Pena drops 1-word reaction to soccer star girlfriend Julia Grosso's name on gold medalist board, takes a cozy couple snap at Longhorns stadium

Jeremy Pena's girlfriend, Julia Grosso, plays soccer for the Chicago Red Stars. Grosso previously played at the collegiate level for the University of Texas at Austin, where the couple paid a visit on Wednesday.

Pena shared a video on his Instagram story, showing a list of gold medalists, possibly from the Texas Longhorns athletics department, where Julia's name was highlighted among other athletes. Impressed by his girlfriend's accomplishment, Pena dropped a one-word reaction:

"Uff 🔥🔥"

Grosso joined the ranks of Washington Mystics' Ariel Atkins, shot-putter Ryan Crouser, NBA icon Kevin Durant and volleyball player Chiaka Ogbogu. She was the only non-American athlete on the list.

Grosso earned her place on the list because of her Olympic triumph with Canada at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she played a pivotal part in Canada's triumph in football by scoring the game-winning penalty kick against Sweden in the final. Repping the No. 7 jersey, Grosso is a midfielder. Before signing with Red Stars, she plied her trade in Italy for Juventus.

Meanwhile, Pena's next Instagram story was a snap of the couple from the Longhorns' football stadium. Taken from a distance, the shortstop and soccer player stood at the center of the field in casual attire, seemingly holding back laughter.

Jeremy Pena and girlfriend share romantic snaps

Jeremy Pena's girlfriend Julia Grosso was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Aug. 29, 2000, and has been playing soccer since high school.

Pena made their relationship official via a combined Instagram post on December 30.

Pena's Astros teammate Yainer Diaz, and Grosso's international teammate Jordyn Huitema were the notable names who commented on the post.

In the 12-photo Instagram post, the couple shared a glimpse of their romantic getaway. The first snap was a selfie taken by Grosso, followed by a shot of a boat.
