Jiri Prochazka wins over Bobby Miller’s girlfriend’s admiration with heartfelt act for cancer patient

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Bobby Miller's girlfriend Natalie Loureda is a martial artist. Natalie closely follows MMA and professional wrestling, often providing analysis and prediction for the former.

On Thursday, Natalie shared an Instagram story highlighting the heartfelt gesture of Jiri Prochazka who will fight fellow former light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill in the featured bout of UFC 311 in Los Angeles. The gesture won over her admiration as she captioned the post with teary-eyed emojis.

Prochazka shaved his head to support Ashly McGarity, a 37-year-old woman battling cervical cancer, who sported the Czech fighter's signature hairstyle before she lost her hair due to chemotherapy. Moreover, the former light heavyweight champion pledged to donate $50,000 to McGarity, which the UFC CEO Dana White matched, making it $100,000.

Furthermore, Prochazka will be flying McGarity to watch him fight at UFC 311. Natalie revealed she would attend the event when Dana White announced the fights for the promotion's first PPV of 2025 last month.

The PPV, headlined by lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and challenger Arman Tsarukyan, has a bantamweight title fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov in the co-main event. Renato Moicano vs. Beneil Dariush and Kevin Holland vs. Reinier de Ridder rounds out the main card.

UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov met with an unfortunate situation. The retired undefeated fighter had originally booked a seat near the emergency exit of a Frontier Airlines airplane. However, the airplane staff allegedly found the ex-UFC champion incapable of helping in case of an emergency.

As such, they asked him to change seats or take another airplane. Nurmagomedov chose the latter. The decision by the airplane staff raised eyebrows, considering the Russian fighter's status as one of the best to ever compete in MMA.

Bobby Miller's girlfriend Natalie shared her thoughts about it through social media. For Natalie, Nurmagomedov seemed like the best person to have in a time of need.

Several big names voiced their dissent against Frontier Airlines. UFC color commentator, podcaster Joe Rogan, and UFC CEO Dana White were among them.

Nurmagomedov was in the US as he is the head coach of Islam Makhachev, one-half of the UFC 311 headliner. Umar, who is challenging bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event, is Nurmagomedov's cousin.

The Russian MMA icon also coaches Tagir Ulanbekov, who will open the earl prelims against the undefeated Clayton Carpenter in a flyweight bout.
