Ashley Kelly, wife of MLB star Joe Kelly, exemplifies the true meaning of multitasking while raising their three children. Their eldest child is a son, while the two others are twins. Needless to say, she has a full-time job looking after the young ones.
On Saturday, Joe Kelly's wife uploaded a couple of video clips on her Instagram story of spending time with the kids. One clip showed her multitasking with the kids as she handled the two younger ones by her side while throwing a pitch to the eldest one. The other story showed her amusing several kids at a playground.
The first clip showed Ashley and her kids at a private tennis court. She had her daughter harnessed to her front while her younger son was standing on the floor beside her as she had a couple of baseballs in her hand.
The eldest child of Joe Kelly was standing with bat in hand awaiting a pitch from his mother. Ashley threw a pitch to her son, which he knocked for a hit.
"The ultimate of the ultimate multi-tasker," the clip was captioned.
The other clip showed Ashley Kelly enjoying with her young ones and other children in the playground. She said that she was acting as a whale, which would get the kids to yell, "Breach."
Joe Kelly and wife special guests for UC Riverside Alumini Appreciation night
Former Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kelly and his wife Ashley have been selected for a special appreciation night by the University of California, Riverside. Ashley posted a flyer of the event on her Instagram story.
The event will be held on Jan. 18 during the game between the UCR Basketball Team and UC San Diego at the SRC Arena. The first 300 fans will receive a Joe Kelly UCR shirt, while signed memorabilia from the All-Star relief pitcher will also be handed out as prizes.
Joe Kelly and Ashley attended UCR and first met each other during their college days. Kelly represented their baseball team, the Highlanders, and became a decorated player for the institute. Although he was an outfielder in high school, he was converted into a relief pitcher in college and became their closer. He was the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2006 during his freshman year.
Meanwhile, Ashley is the daughter of former Minnesota Twins catcher Derek Parks.
