Jose Altuve's wife Nina captures romantic moment with Astros star against stunning backdrop

Seasoned Houston Astros veteran Jose Altuve had yet another strong season with the bat in 2024. The 34-year-old batted .295, with 20 home runs and 65 RBIs for the recently concluded campaign.

With another grueling baseball season done and dusted, it appears the Venezuelan has wasted no time getting into holiday mode with his wife, Nina.

On Thursday, Nina Altuve took to Instagram to post a snap from their latest trip, as she captured a romantic moment with her husband against the backdrop of a stunning sunset.

Jose wore a black baseball cap with a blue shirt, and white shorts, while Nina wore a blue dress as they stood on a building balcony.

Not much is known about when and how Jose Altuve met his future wife, as the couple have preferred to keep those details private. Both Jose and Nina hail from Venezuela and the pair have reportedly known each other ever since they were very young, per People.

The couple, along with their two daughters, have resided in Texas for quite some time now, as Jose Altuve has been a stalwart with the Houston Astros since joining the team in 2011.

Jose Altuve found himself heading into an early offseason after the Astros lost their wildcard series against the Detroit Tigers.

It appears he and his wife are making the most of that time, though, as they took off to explore the sights and sounds of cities such as Rome and Paris.

Nina Altuve took to Instagram to post a series of snaps, as she gave fans a sneak peek into what she and her husband had been up to during their European adventure.

For now, the Venezuelan can take his mind off baseball, as he focuses on spending quality time with his wife and daughters. The focus shifts back to baseball in the new year, with spring training typically starting in early February.
