Jose Altuve's wife Nina turns up the glamour in silhouette selfie during romantic date night with Astros star

Astros ace second baseman Jose Altuve and his wife Nina Altuve enjoyed a romantic dinner date on Sunday night. The duo, hailing from Venezuela, began dating when they were teenagers living in Maracay, Venezuela. They married soon after he was signed by the Astros as an undrafted free agent in 2007.

Nina sometimes shares moments from her daily life on social media, and on Sunday night she shared some delightful images of herself and the Astros ace from their romantic dinner date, which included a silhouette selfie.

After dating for several years, the couple has been rumored to have exchanged wedding vows in 2007. Altuve made his MLB debut with the Astros four years later in 2011 and since then has become the face of a mighty franchise that made winning the AL pennant their usual habit every season.

Over the span of 14 years in Houston, the Venezuelan has helped the ball club towards two World Series honors. He is a nine-time All-Star and has won seven gold glove awards in the MLB. Over the years, Nina has been the biggest supporter of Jose Altuve's endeavors both on and off the field.

The couple reside in Pearland, Texas, with their two daughters. They were blessed with their first child, Melanie Andrea, in November 2016. They welcomed their second daughter in 2020.

Melanie accompanied her mother to the field at Minute Maid Park when Altuve won his maiden Fall Classic title with the Astros. Both the girls also accompanied their mother in 2022 to celebrate Jose's second World Series in Houston, Texas.

Jose Altuve's wife shared some delightful images in her social media post from December 31, 2024. The post encapsulated some of the best memories that she spent alongside her husband and daughters last year while welcoming the new year with open arms. The caption read:

"Thank you 2024. I appreciate the good times and the not so much.. this family is going to keep dreaming ✨"

Altuve capped off an amazing 2024 season in Houston which saw him claim the ninth All-Star nod of his MLB career, alongside a second nod to the All-MLB second team, and a seventh Silver Slugger Award.
