Jake Paul's extraordinary knockout win against former NBA star Nate Robinson in 2020 had some unexpected ramifications. One of those was retired MLB star Jose Canseco famously throwing his name into the hat to be one of the Paul brothers' next scraps.
“I will fight anyone of the Logan Brothers they have enough for anyone with any type of talent yet or fighting skills,” Canseco tweeted.
As Canseco's tweet spread like wild-fire on social media, Logan Paul was quick to respond, savagely hitting his opposition where it hurt.
"No problem. I love smashing Cansecos," Logan Paul responded.
Jose Canseco and Logan Paul have history, as his daughter, Victoria's Secret model Josie Canseco, briefly dated the American social media personality in 2020. The relationship, however, didn't last long. According to sources, Logan claimed she was being too selfish, while Logan said that he wasn't the one for her.
Jose Canseco publicly stated in 2020 that the pair's split was bad and that there was a lot of drama in the aftermath.
A fired-up Canseco even went on to suggest that Logan Paul get in touch with his manager ASAP, saying he wants to fight. There was also a special request involved: no headgear allowed.
"Okay since you like smashing Canseco Logan get ahold of my agent Mike Maguire let's get this done" Jose said.
"And by the way no headgear needed for this fight I have a hard head."
Canseco concluded by making a bold claim about inviting boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. to personally train him for the bout.
Josie and Jose Canseco reportedly fell out over feud with Logan Paul
Josie and Jose Canseco were supposedly not on talking terms because of the former Oakland A's star's pointless feud with YouTuber Logan Paul.
Josie termed the whole act "embarrassing," during a lengthy rant to friend and fellow model Charlotte D’Alessio on the “Between Good and Evil” podcast.
“My dad’s been going on a f–king rampage on Twitter calling out Logan, calling out Jake [Paul], just being so selfishly embarrassing,” she said.
“Normally if a dad wanted to start a ‘fake Twitter beef’ or whatever, he’d be like, ‘Hey, do you mind if I call out your boyfriend and call him weak and this and that for attention?’
“He crossed a line of being selfish and embarrassing me calling out someone that I’m still very close with. He came at Logan’s dad and tweeted pictures and saying s–t. I don’t f–k with that fake internet s–t. I just do not care. I don’t need press, I don’t need publicity, I don’t care to be famous, I don’t care for attention.”
Thus, it seems pretty unlikely that any fight between the two will ever be arranged.
