Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez rocked an all-black sports ensemble on social media, showing off a stylish look.

Ramirez posted the pic on IG, dazzling fans with his unique sense of style and taste. The outfit features a black t-shirt, shorts, and socks to go with lime-green sneakers. The backward cap rounds out the ensemble.

Here’s a look at the trendy attire:

The caption does not feature any words, but rather a fingers-crossed icon. The gesture, signaling good luck, appears to be Jose Ramirez’s wish for this upcoming 2025 season.

The all-black ensemble is just a small sample of the flair for style Jose Ramirez flaunts. Here’s a look at another of Ramirez’s eye-catching looks:

The photo set depicts Ramirez’s penchant for bright colors and flashy patterns. As such, going with an all-black look featuring a famous sporting brand gives fans a glimpse into another face of Ramirez’s fashion sense.

Fans and followers can look forward to this year as Ramirez shows off his flair on and off the baseball field.

Jose Ramirez poised for historic 40-40 season in 2025

Last season, Jose Ramirez had one of the best seasons of his career. He hit 39 home runs and stole 41 bases, narrowly missing the 40-40 club. Both the home run and stolen base totals were the highest of his 12-year MLB career.

Ramirez previously hit 39 homers and swiped 34 bags in 2018. Since then, his power and speed numbers have declined somewhat but found a resurgence this past season. In addition, Ramirez eclipsed the 100-RBI mark for the fourth time in his career, falling six RBI short of his career-high set in 2022.

With Ramirez just barely missing out on the 40-40 club, there’s a chance he could break that mark this upcoming season. He’s been consistently healthy, playing in at least 152 games except for the 2019 campaign in which he played 129, and the 2020 COVID-shortened season in which he played 58.

Given his track record, there’s a good chance the 31-year-old Dominican infielder can make history. As the Akron Beacon Journal shared in September 2024, Ramirez could become the seventh player in MLB history to go 40-40 and the first Guardians player to achieve the feat.

As the Journal quoted Ramirez:

“Obviously, that’s a goal of mine. That’s kind of like the mindset since I left the Dominican Republic, and I want to be part of that select group of players who have achieved that record.”

Barring a serious injury, Ramirez will have a chance to go down in the history books while helping his club reach the postseason. Winning a World Series is certainly something the Cleveland Guardians will be looking to achieve in 2025.
