Josh Hader and his wife Maria Hader are making the most of the offseason by spending some quality time with each other, their son, Lucas, and their pet canine, Riley. The duo have been married for more than five years.
While Maria doesn't avidly take to social media to share moments from her daily life, she has over 8K followers on the platform. On, Saturday, she shared an image of their pet dog, Riley, celebrating her fifth birthday.
Josh Hader's wife could be seen holding a cookie in the shape of a heart with 'Birthday Girl' written over it as she captured her furry friend sitting obediently beside her toys.
The caption on the social media post read:
"Happy 5th birthday to our Riley."
Hader had met the love of his life while he was playing with the Brewers minor league teams and Maria was pursuing her sports management degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in November 2015. The year Josh made his MLB debut with the Brewers, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in sports management.
Over the years, she continued to work as a sports broadcasting intern, marketing and promotions assistant, and a sports information assistant with communication firms and sports agencies. The couple continued to date despite their busy lifestyles, and their bond grew even stronger.
They took the next step in their relationship and got engaged on Nov. 15, 2018. They exchanged wedding vows in an intimate ceremony on Nov. 30, 2019, in front of close friends and relatives.
The Haders were blessed with their first child, a son, Lucas, on June 15, 2022, and celebrated his second birthday last year.

Josh Hader and his wife Maria are actively involved in philanthropic ventures. Their most recent giveaway drive in association with the Astros Foundation was in December 2024 ahead of the Christmas Holidays.
Hader and his wife conducted a toy drive and spread Christmas cheers among the members of the community.

Hader capped of a decent season with the Astros in 2024, registering 34 saves, 3.80 ERA, 105 strikeouts and 0.96 WHIP.
