Although it's still unclear whether free agent third baseman Alex Bregman will re-sign with the Houston Astros and join Josh Hader on the team, his two-year-old son Knox is having fun with Hader's son Lucas in the offseason.
Knox and Lucas met during the 2024 Spring Training Palm Beaches facility and have since formed a strong bond over their shared love for baseball. They always take the opportunity to play together whenever they can.
On Wednesday, Hader's wife Maria shared an adorable moment between Lucas and Knox. The two toddlers were caught in a playful scene, swinging plastic bats and enjoying an impromptu baseball game in a cozy living room.
"Just two baseball kids," Maria wrote in the story, tagging Hader, Alex Bregman and his wife, Reagan.
In the first story, Knox is is seen pitching to Lucas amidst a living room scattered with toys, doubling as their mini stadium. In the second instance, the roles reverse, with Knox at the bat and Lucas delivering the pitch.
Alex Bregman's wife Reagan documents pregnancy journey with regards to fitness
Knox is set to become a big brother as the Bregmans anticipate the arrival of their second son in early 2025. The couple announced their pregnancy in October, and since then, Bregman's wife Reagan has been sharing her experiences with their followers.
A few days ago, Reagan took to Instagram to document her fitness journey and workout routines:
"My workouts this pregnancy have been so different than last pregnancy," Reagan wrote. "I've really been taking it slow, focusing on low impact movement, pelvic floor & mobility. And just taking it easy this pregnancy in general. Let me know if you want to see them."
Meanwhile, the couple has an important decision to make this offseason. With the birth of another child looming, they may need to relocate from Texas, as it seems Alex Bregman and the Houston Astros are headed for a parting of ways.
The club has signaled a new direction by trading away Kyle Tucker for Isaac Paredes and signing Christian Walker through free agency.
The leading contenders for Bregman's talents are the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays.
