Josh Naylor's fiancee Chantel Collado reacts as Guardians trade Andres Gimenez, Nick Sandlin to Blue Jays

In one of the first main blockbusters of the offseason, Josh Naylor's Cleveland Guardians sent Andres Gimenez and Nick Sandlin away. Gimenez had been Naylor's second baseman for a while, dependably fielding baseballs as one of the best defenders in the league before throwing them over to Naylor.

Sandlin, a relief pitcher, pitched with Naylor plenty of times throughout the years. Now, both are headed elsewhere, and Naylor's fiancee took the opportunity to express her feelings on the matter.

Chantel Collado shared the Guardians' official "Thank You" posts for both players on her Instagram story. She also added a frowning, sad emoji to the story to express feelings about the trade. Collado will miss these players, who played with her soon-to-be husband.

The Guardians made the ALCS last year before losing in five to the New York Yankees, but they liked the return enough to move on from two key players. The main piece in the trade was Spencer Horwitz.

The Toronto Blue Jays believe they have got a great player in Gimenez, who recently signed a seven-year deal with Cleveland before it opted to trade him to the Blue Jays. He was a key piece in the Francisco Lindor trade to the Mets in January 2021.
