Josh Smith's wife drops 2-word reaction to French getaway with Rangers star

Texas Rangers utility player Josh Smith has been spending his offseason with his wife, Claire, on a charming getaway to France. The couple enjoyed each other’s company in the romantic city of Paris.

On Wednesday, Josh Smith shared a few snapshots from their trip with his Instagram followers, captioned:

“Paris.”

Smith’s wife, Claire, commented on the post, sharing her thoughts on the experience:

“Best trip.”

In one photo, Josh and Claire Smith can be seen posing inside a beautifully designed building, likely the Ritz Paris hotel where they stayed, as seen in one of the images. Another image showed Josh on the streets of Paris, dressed in an all-black outfit, including a hoodie, pants, matching shoes, a long coat and dark sunglasses.

One snap featured the 27-year-old standing in front of Paris’ iconic Arc de Triomphe. The couple also took a photo together with a stunning backdrop view of the Eiffel Tower.

The two also shared a selfie taken at the Louvre Museum, posing in front of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous masterpieces, the Mona Lisa.

Claire Smith has nearly 93K followers on her Instagram account, where she frequently shares personal moments from her life. On Wednesday, she posted a photo of her look after a gua sha session, captioning it:

“Post gua sha, I feel like I just beat up my face.”

In the photo, she can be seen wearing a pink headband and a black tank top while showing off her post gua sha glow.

Josh and Claire got engaged in October 2020 and tied the knot in January 2021. The infielder later shared some moments from their wedding on Instagram, captioning the post:

“To forever and more, my love. I love you Claire Smith #GettinSmithyWithIt”

On the field in 2024, Smith had a standout season with the Rangers, posting a .258 batting average, hitting 13 home runs and driving in 62 RBIs. He also earned a Silver Slugger Award for his performance.
