The bad blood between Juan Soto and New York Yankees fans isn't dying anytime soon. After the outfielder's record 15-year, $765 million deal was announced with the New York Mets, people in the Bronx threw their worst at the 2024 AL MVP finalist. This comes despite some of them knowing that Soto's camp asked the Yankees to upgrade or match the Mets' winning offer.

The latest to drag Soto was OnlyFans model Sophie Rain, who shared that she earned over $43 million through the platform from Nov. 28, 2023, to Nov. 28, 2024.

On Thursday, a user named "KutterIsKing" shared a post from Rain claiming that she was invited to two Yankee games that she attended in the 2024 season. Taking a dig at the Yankees organization, the said user said:

"The Yankees treated this OF model better than they treated Juan Soto’s family 😭😭😭"

In response, Rain mentioned Soto to hit back.

"I am more loyal to my fans than Juan Soto is 🫡" Rain wrote.

Juan Soto expressed his love for the Yankees fans

After the LA Dodgers took out the Yankees in five games to win the 2024 World Series, a deserted look from Juan Soto sitting in the dugout alone went viral. This was seen as a suggestion of him not coming back.

Then came the offseason, where the Yankees and Mets fought it out, with the latter coming out winner for Soto. Following the introductory press conference of Soto's signing with the Mets, the outfielder spoke about his time with the Yankees and their fans.

"I just want to say thank you to them," Soto said. "They really showed me all the love and everything that they have. They were right there, day in and day out. They really have a spot in my heart at the end of the day."

However, he revealed that Soto wasn't contacted by any of his Yankees teammates.

"I haven't talked to any of those guys," Soto said. "We talked to them through the playoffs, at the end of the playoffs. But after that, through this process, I haven't talked to any of those guys."

It's no surprise that some Yankees teammate, possibly Aaron Judge as well, would have felt betrayed. The Yankees' captain's 2024 recap post on Instagram featured several teammates except Soto, suggesting not everything is fine between the two.

For fans, it only adds to the excitement when the two face off in the 2025 Subway Series.
