Juan Soto is one of the newest members of the New York Mets after signing a contract worth $765 million. Soto spent the last season with the New York Yankees but is moving across town after signing a 15-year deal.
The 2025 MLB season will begin at the end of March, giving everyone in MLB a few more weeks to enjoy the offseason. Soto has been spending time with his family in the Dominican Republic. His most recent update on his Instagram story is solely focused on himself, though, and he's sporting a fashionable look.
On Friday, Soto updated shared a picture of himself standing next to a white Mercedes-Benz SUV. His white shoes match the color of the vehicle, and he is wearing a white shirt and denim pants.
Soto helped lead the Yankees to the World Series a season ago and has also been a member of the Washington Nationals and San Diego Padres. The young outfielder has belted 201 career home runs already and has also hit .285 to begin his career.
There will be a ton of pressure on Soto to deliver the Mets an NL East title, but he doesn't look faced with the expectations in his latest Instagram story.
Juan Soto gives back to the community
There has been plenty of time for Juan Soto to relax during the offseason, but he has also been spending some time giving back to the Dominican Republic. Early this month, Soto met up with other MLB legends to visit some kids in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
There were several memorable moments throughout the trip back to the Dominican Republic, and many of those were captured on social media. In the photo shared above, Soto can be seen giving a jersey to a young boy named Leonardo.
Soto then shared the post and interaction on his Instagram story and captioned it with a touching message.
"May your heart never change, Leonardo. Your courage, joy, and dreams inspire us all. Keep believing, and know that your determination will take you far," he wrote (translated to English).
Soto will soon be back on the baseball field, representing the New York Mets.
