Julio Rodriguez's girlfriend Jordyn Huitema drops three-word reaction to soccer teammate Julia Grosso's romantic getaway with Astros' Jeremy Pena

Jordyn Huitema, the girlfriend of Seattle Mariners' star Julio Rodriguez, and Julia Grosso, who is in a relationship with Houston Astros ace Jeremy Pena, are teammates on the Canadian women's soccer team. The duo played together for the Canadian national team at the 2024 Paris Olympics from July to August.

Currently, both couples are enjoying their offseason. Julia Grosso recently took to social media to share some delightful images from her romantic getaways with Jeremy Pena to Spain, the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Dominican Republic and Canada.

Jordyn and Julia share the same nationality but play for different clubs in the NWSL. Huitema has been with the Seattle Reign since 2022, while Grosso joined the Chicago Red Stars in July 2024.

Before joining the NWSL, both players competed with different European soccer clubs. Grosso played for Italian giants Juventus from 2022 to 2024, while Huitema was with French giants Paris St. Germain from 2019 to 2022.

Julio Rodriguez and Jeremy Pena had subpar seasons with their respective ballclubs in 2024. Rodriguez finished the season with a .273 batting average, 20 home runs, 68 RBIs and a .734 OPS as the Mariners failed to secure a postseason berth. He was previously named the AL Rookie of the Year in 2022.

Pena recorded a .266 batting average, 15 home runs, 70 RBIs and a .701 OPS as the Astros were knocked out by the Detroit Tigers in the AL Wildcard series. He was previously named the World Series and NLCS MVP in 2022.

Although Canada was knocked out in the quarterfinals by Germany, the team had previously won gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
