Jackson Holliday is currently on a roll for the Baltimore Orioles after returning to the MLB. His two hits against the Cleveland Guardians helped the team to a 9-5 win as the O's split their series. Gunnar Henderson was all praise for his fellow infielder, telling him to soak in his achievement.

Holliday had a poor first stint with the O's earlier in the season. In 34 at-bats, he managed just two singles with the pressures of being the sport's number 1 prospect clearly showing on the first baseman.

But after he was recalled to the MLB, he immediately showed his prowess hitting a grand slam against the Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards on Wednesday. He continued that form, with Sunday's game being the third consecutive two-hit for Holliday. He hit a solo 362-foot home run in the fourth, his first road homer, and a clutch two-outs single in the seventh.

Shortstop and batting lineup leader Gunnar Henderson had some strong words of encouragement for Holliday.

"Every player who's come up, they hit some type of struggle, it just depends on when. Obviously, it's been two, three games, so I wouldn't say there's anything to get worried about right now. Just let him get his feet up a little and catch his breath out there," Henderson said.

The Orioles have one of the best batting lineups in the league. So, for Jackson Holliday to get back into the lineup, he would have to fight his way with some strong performances to get his preferred batting position.

Currently, Jackson Holliday is slotting in as the last batter in the 9 hole. Since his return, he has gone 6-11 with two RBIs. His contributions will particularly help Baltimore as he is followed up by leadoff hitter Colton Cowser, Anthony Santander and Gunnar Henderson. They will be able to drive in more runs if Holliday is able to reach base.
