Justin Turner's wife Kourtney pens heartfelt note as husband returns to Dodger Stadium for the first time in Mariners blue

Veteran infielder Justin Turner's wife, Kourtney, celebrated his return to Dodger Stadium for the first time in a Mariners jersey. Turner was traded from the Toronto Blue Jays to the Seattle Mariners on July 29 in exchange for minor-league prospect RJ Schreck.

Turner's Mariners played the Dodgers in a three-game series last week. Kourtney was moved by the warm reception that the Turner family received on the ground and shared a heartfelt thank-you note while uploading some pictures on her Instagram account.

"Thanks for the warm welcome back, LA 🤍"

Justin Turner and Kourtney even brought their newborn son on the field, as Dodgers pitchers Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler, and utility player Kike Hernandez got a closer look at the child.

The Dodgers held a ceremony in honor of Turner, during which they handed out a check for a $10,000 donation to the Justin Turner Foundation. Turner also received a framed photo collage of some special moments that he had over nine seasons in Dodger Blue.

Turner's civic contributions earned him the Roberto Clemente Award in 2022, while the Los Angeles City Council has declared January 22 as "Justin Turner Day."

In 2014, Turner signed a free agent contract with the Dodgers after having spent six years with two different ballclubs. He was part of the Dodgers team that won the World Series in 2020. He also received two All-Star nods in 2017 and 2021.

Turner played the 2023 season with the Boston Red Sox. He started the current campaign with the Blue Jays before getting traded to the Mariners just before the trade deadline.

In 112 games for the Blue Jays and Mariners this season, Turner is hitting .248 with seven home runs and 41 RBIs.

Justin Turner celebrated his special moment at Dodger Stadium with his wife Kourtney after welcoming their firstborn in July. Justin announced the birth via an Instagram post:

"Bo Jordan Turner - our little dual citizen came into the world like a firecracker on the 4th of July! He tried to prove to mom that being early IS possible! She appreciates the humor but more so the few extra weeks with him! We are so in love with you, baby boy! 🤍"

Justin and Kourtney, a former actress, met in 2012 in Los Angeles. After dating for several years, they finally got married in 2017 in Mexico.
