“Justin Verlander was the most excited about weird cravings” - When wife Kate Upton teased Astros star for unconditional support during her pregnancy

Justin Verlander was, according to his wife, a good partner during her pregnancy. There were a lot of challenges that arose during that time, and Verlander was there for Upton. He did what needed to be done, including indulging all his wife's interesting and random cravings.

Pregnant women often crave food they otherwise would not and the results can be interesting. According to Upton, Verlander had no trouble with this part of the pregnancy despite his status as a top athlete. In September 2018, the supermodel said, via Romper:

“Justin was the most excited about weird cravings. He kept being like, ‘I can’t wait for the pickle run in the middle of the night,' I’m like, ‘Okay. But I haven’t had anything. I’m fine with all food.'”

The Houston Astros star was all-in on helping his wife, who also admitted that she had stopped working out for a while. There was a lot of travel and not very much energy, so she had to cut that part of her life out. She started it again later, before the baby was born. She added:

"I’ve been completely trying to stay healthy and work out through the pregnancy, and doing the best I can. It makes me feel better, honestly.”

Now, the couple has endured seven years of marriage and have one child together, a daughter.

Kate Upton, who has been Justin Verlander's baseball wife for seven years, said via the New York Post a month ago:

“Being a baseball wife is absolutely insane, like this schedule is wild, it’s so long. I didn’t know. I accidentally fell in love. I had no idea that there were this many games.”

She joked that they can only do things on the occasional Monday or Thursday since there are no consecutive days off and those days are the only ones, generally speaking, that don't have games sometimes.
