Former Kansas City Royals star Lorenzo Cain has announced his retirement from MLB, with an official ceremony coming up in the summer. Cain was in the big leagues for 13-years, and is best known for winning the World Series in 2015 with the Royals. He was selected to the All-Star team twice in his career and won a Gold Glove award in 2019.Lorenzo Cain's retirement as a member of the Kansas City Royals is fitting considering all he has accomplished with the team. He was arguably the best player on their World Series championship team in 2015, their first championship since 1985.
