Former Dodgers utility man and current free agent Kike Hernandez shared a heartfelt message for his wife, Mariana Vicente, on her birthday, celebrated Wednesday. The couple, who married in December 2019 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, are parents to a daughter, Penelope Isabel, who was born on Jan. 15, 2021.
Vicente is a model and was previously crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico. She also placed in the top 10 at the 2010 Miss Universe pageant.
It’s been a decade of love, laughter and milestones for Hernandez and Vicente, who recently celebrated another memorable birthday together. Hernandez, in his Instagram story, reflected on how their relationship has evolved over the last 10 years, marking 10 birthdays for Mariana. His message read:
"Una década de cumpleaños contigo y te ves mejor que nunca!! Te amoooo!!! @marianavicente" (Translation: "A decade of birthdays with you, and you look better than ever!! I love you!!!") .

Along with the caption, Hernandez posted a story showing Mariana sitting at an elegant restaurant table, holding a glass of red wine. She is dressed in a chic black outfit.
In response, Mariana reposted the story with her own brief but heartwarming note:

Austin Barnes' wife wishes Kike Hernandez's wife on her birthday
Several Dodgers’ wives and girlfriends wished Mariana well on her birthday. Among them was Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes' wife, Nicole, who posted a message for her friend. She shared a photo of the two embracing motherhood while holding their kids.
"HBD Mari," Nicole wrote. "I'm so thankful you were born because you & your friendship are the sweetest blessing to me!!! ILY & raising these wild babies together!!! NEWYEAR"
Mariana also replied with one word, highlighting their friendship:
