Kansas City Chiefs tight end and three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce announced the Texas Rangers as his favorite MLB ballclub. Kelce addressed mediapersons while heading inside the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City for the NFL Week 1 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The tight end wore a white and brown-colored open shirt with a white vest and white-brownish pants. He completed his ensemble with a red and white hat and a pair of classic aviators. As he walked to the stadium entrance, he looked at the camera on him and said:

"Yessir! Let's go Rangers, baby!"

While Kelce and the Chiefs opened their defense for the Super Bowl crown against last year's MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, the Texas Rangers opened a four-game series against the LA Angels at home in Globe Life Field.

Texas is in the final stretch of its long 10-game homestand, which started with a series win against the Oakland A's, followed by another series win, against AL East table toppers NY Yankees.

Texas will now be hopeful of completing its homestand on a high by taking at least three games against the Halos. In doing so, it will register a fourth series win on the trot since losing a three-game series against the Guardians at Progressive Field in August.

Texas is the incumbent World Series champion and still possesses a pretty dynamic and deep squad under manager Bruce Bochy. It is no wonder that Kelce supports the ballclub and backs it to defend its Fall Classic crown this season.

The 2023 World Series was contested between AL champions Texas Rangers and NL champions Arizona Diamondbacks from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1. Texas won the Fall Classic emphatically in just five games, with the first two held at Globe Life Field and the next three at the Diamondbacks' home in Chase Field.

For Game 1 of the Fall Classic, there was a special guest in attendance inside the celebrity press box. MLB fans went ballistic after spotting NFL star and Super Bowl LVIII champion with the Chiefs, Travis Kelce, who even shook a leg on his girlfriend Taylor Swift's hit track "Shake It Off."
