Logan Gilbert and his wife Aviles had a year to remember. The Seattle Mariners pitcher, who made his debut in the 2021 season, earned his first All-Star selection in 2024 after going 9–12 record with a 3.23 ERA. He led the majors with 208.2 innings and 0.887 WHIP.
On Sunday, Aviles posted a series of photos on her social media, catching glimpses from the 2024 year which will end in just over a week. She recapped the year with the following caption:
"Thank you, 2024🤍 these beautiful people, places and lessons I’ve learned have made this year so wonderful"
The photos included a snap with her in-laws, brother Tyler Gilbert and his wife Emmy. In another photo, she posed alongside her friends Hannah Shimek and Taylor Thornton.
Moreover, the couple also went on several hiking trails and different adventures during the year. They even shared a kiss under the Eiffel Tower in Paris during their European trip.
Aviles couldn't hold her cheers lauding Logan Gilbert for making the All-Star game
It's a dream of every major league player to make the All-Star game at least once in their career. In his third year in the majors, Logan Gilbert realized that dream.
Coming into the Midsummer Classic, Gilbert had logged a league-leading 132.3 innings, remaining injury-free despite the heavy workload.
Gilbert brought his wife, Aviles, along to walk the red carpet of the 2024 MLB All-Star game. Aviles wore a white overall outfit, complementing the pitcher who wore grey formals. Sharing her experience from the game in Arlington, Aviles shared a post, with a caption cheering the pitcher:
"All Star Game 2024. What an amazing experience to watch your dream of making the ASG team come true. I’m beyond proud that your beautiful hard work got recognized this week. I am so grateful to be a part of the celebrations! I love you, Logan!❤️⭐️⚾️" she wrote in caption.
Logan Gilbert has an offseason to relax before taking the mound again in Spring 2025. Despite the Mariners missing out on the postseason after a strong start, the team is determined to get back to the October field next year.
