Olivia Dunne embraced a different season with her beau Paul Skenes. A year ago, they were both in college but now that Paul Skenes turned pro this season, she experienced what it's like to be the partner of a baseball player.
In May, Skenes was called up to the majors by the Pittsburgh Pirates, who drafted him first overall last year. Dunne watched her first game in the suites of PNC Park and she absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. She stole the spotlight at MLB's All-Star red carpet and followed it up by experiencing the excitement during MLB Awards week.
Add to that, she has a bunch of new friends that come with being the newest member of the MLB wives and girlfriends club. During an interaction with Glamour posted last week, Dunne spoke about the experience and how she looks forward to continue being a member of it.
“I really enjoy posting about my life, and also I love supporting Paul and traveling with him,” Dunne said. “I only got to travel with Paul, I think, twice this summer to his away games, but I would love to keep doing that and continue being a WAG.”
Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne bonding over fellow Pirates stars' wives and girlfriends
Over the season, Olivia Dunne was spotted several times making friendship goals with wives and girlfriends of Pirates stars, be it the pregnancy party of a teammate at PNC Park clubhouse or taking a time out in the middle of a river with other teammates.
A June collection of pics on Paul Skenes' Instagram account is a good testament to that. In one pic, Skenes and Dunne were seen spending quality time with Kyle Nicolas, Jared Jones, and his girlfriend Rylie Fox in a boat. In the same series of photos, Olivia Dunne's pet Roux was beside Rylie's pet Goobs.
Earlier this year, Rylie invited Skenes, Dunne, and Nicolas to celebrate Riley Jones' birthday.
It seems Olivia Dunne has settled well embracing the new network that comes with being the partner of the newly crowned NL Rookie of the Year. She herself has a big season to look forward to ahead. She is returning to play her fifth and final season with the LSU Tigers gymnastics team.
