Luis Cessa's wife Nancy shared a wholesome moment between father and son on Saturday. She recorded a video at dawn as Luis and his son Luis Enrique Jr. played catch.
"Swing Piñatero says dad will get better soon! Hahaha," Nancy captioned the Instagram story.
The Cessa family also shared pictures of their Christmas celebration and wished all their fans a merry Christmas. On Christmas, the family posed in front of their decorated tree, as Luis and Nancy donned white tops and Luis Enrique Jr. wore a grey full-sleeved sweatshirt.
"Happy Holidays from the Cessa family," Luis wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
The two began dating in 2016 and tied the knot in 2021. While Luis plays baseball for a living, Nancy is an Emmy award-winning journalist.

Luis Cessa currently plays in the Mexican Pacific League for Los Yaquis de Obregón. Before playing in the Mexican Pacific League, Luis was released by the Cincinnati Reds at the end of the 2023 season. He was then picked up by the Kansas City Royals in 2024, however, he was demoted to the minor leagues with the Royals' affiliate, Triple-A Omaha.
In May 2024, while playing against the St. Paul Saints, the pitcher delivered five strikeouts and a lone walk in five innings. The Storm Chasers ended up defeating the Saints 6-0. The start from the Mexican pitcher received a lot of praise from his supporting wife, Nancy.
Nancy shared pictures of her husband's outing on her Instagram story:
"La más gritona y orgullosa," (The loudest and proudest).
Luis also thanked the team, Los Yaquis de Obregón, on his social media and his son even donned their jersey.
