The San Diego Padres superstar Manny Machado never seems to have an off day and is still sweating it out in the gym this offseason. Machado had a great 2024 MLB season with San Diego on both ends of the game. His searing offensive productions last season earned him the second Silver Slugger Award of his MLB career and also earned the maiden nod to the All-MLB Second team.

Manny Machado's fitness trainer Nick Soto took to social media to share Manny Machado's rigorous workout routine on Thursday. Soto is the strength and conditioning coach of the Miami Hurricanes baseball team and also runs his own fitness program for pro players, the Gorilla baseball club. The coach complimented the Padres third baseman with a two-word comment, writing:

"Light Weight."

Besides Machado, Nick Soto has many high-profile MLB stars training with his fitness program like Jean Segura and Yuli Gurriel.

Manny was born and raised in Miami, Florida and had even committed to play collegiate baseball with the Florida International University before the Baltimore Orioles selected him as the third overall pick in the 2010 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut with the Orioles in 2012.

Manny played seven years with the Orioles and just half a season with the Dodgers. After losing the 2018 Fall Classic with the Dodgers, he became a free agent.

Machado ended up signing a mammoth ten-year, $300 million deal with LAD's NL West rivals, the Padres during the spring of 2019. Since then, he has become the star face of the organization.

Manny Machado is currently enjoying his time during the offseason at home in Miami. Still, he takes time to work out every day, as he will be eyeing a better run for San Diego in 2025.
