Gianna Pettus speaks about initial spark of love with Masyn Winn

After winning Netflix's Too Hot to Handle Season 6, Gianna Pettus, who grew up in Missouri, where her grandmother stayed, spoke about the start of her relationship with Masyn Winn, who plays shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals.

For Pettus and Winn, it all started with a simple Instagram follow and a direct message. During an interview with The Teen Edit following the release of the Netflix show in July, Gianna opened up about how their relationship blossomed.

"After filming, I had been in such a good space, so I thought being in a relationship wouldn’t be that bad," Gianna said.

She explained that while she was navigating college life, she found the dating scene less than ideal. However, things took a turn when she went home for the summer and stumbled on Masyn’s Instagram profile.

"I followed this guy on Instagram because he had posted with one of my favorite artists, Metro Boomin," she said.

Little did Gianna know that it would lead to something special. Shortly after, Masyn slid into her DMs, and the two started hanging out.

"It just started, and we never looked back. It’s actually been really nice. I don’t have any stress with this relationship," Pettus added.

The two have been spotted during Cardinals games since August.
