While LA is dealing with wildfires on the West Coast, it is freezing in Kellar, Texas, where Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy lives during the offseason. Had it been in the regular season, it would have been a difficult time for the Muncy family as the Palisades fires continue to ravage destruction in California.
Muncy, who was born in Midland, Texas, is married to his wife, Kellie. The couple has two children: Sophie (born on July 23, 2021) and son Wyatt (born on April 24, 2023).
On Saturday, Kellie shared a fun video of their children as they embraced the winter with excitement. The Dodgers star’s family enjoyed a snowy day filled with creativity.
In the post, Wyatt was decked out in an adorable red Mickey Mouse snowsuit, while Sophie wore a cozy pink polka dot outfit, complete with a white hat featuring a gold Nike logo.
The highlight was the kids’ creation — a cheerful snowman sporting a blue Dodgers cap.
“In the fire or the snow, Lord you are faithful over it all 🙏💜,” Kellie captioned.
Max Muncy's family attends Baylor's football game
On Nov. 30., the Baylor Bears hosted the Kansas Jayhawks at McLane Stadium. Max Muncy and his family went to the game and saw the action live. The Bears put on a show against the Jayhawks, convincingly winning 45-17.
Kellie uploaded a reel from their outing. Her children donned Baylor-themed sweaters from Cat & Coco for gameday.
"Always the best time being back at our old stomping grounds 🐻💚💛 plus the most perfect Baylor gameday sweaters by @lovecatandcoco 🫶🏼" Kellie wrote.
Max and Kellie are proud alumni of Baylor University, where the couple met before tying the knot in November 2018.
Muncy played college baseball for the Bears. He was named a freshman All-American in 2010 before he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2012.
