Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout's 2024 season met an unfortunate end after his season was cut short due to a torn meniscus after a red-hot start to the season.

However, Trout has been making ample use of his time away from the diamond. He is making strides in other sports as he was announced as the first Limited Partner of Jupiter Links Golf Club, Tiger Woods' TGL team.

The announcement from the TGL team also shared the 11-time All-Star's excitement about the opportunity.

"The innovation and energy behind TGL are truly remarkable. I can't wait to be part of this exciting journey of bringing golf to prime time," Trout said in a statement.

The three-time American League MVP also reacted to the post with a four-word message, writing:

"Let's go!!!🔥 So pumped."

The MLB superstar is one of the investors in the golf league founded by Mike McCarley, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy. Trout's former Angels teammate Shohei Ohtani is also an investor in the six-team league that commenced on January 7th.

Some of the other high-profile names to have invested in the league are Steph Curry, Andre Iguodala, Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Serena Williams, Lewis Hamilton, and Diana Taurasi, among others.

Mike Trout predicted to return determined to make a mark in 2025

The 11-time All-Star was the fastest to 10 home runs at the start of the 2024 season. However, a meniscus tear in April stopped his stellar start. He was predicted to return to action after the All-Star break but a second meniscus tear meant a premature end to the season.

Trout's rapid start last year has MLB analyst AI Leiter confident of a motivated return for the superstar slugger this year.

"Same as in April of 2024, when he was like completely unburdened. He was stealing base again, Shohei was gone. Mike never said it, but it had to get a little tired that everything that asked of Mike was 'What's it like playing with Shohei.'
"No, no, 'What's it like playing with Mike'. That's his team, it's always been his team, and then the meniscus injury, and he re-aggravated it, missed the whole year essentially from May on. Mike's gonna come back very determined in 2025," Leiter said.

Injuries have been a bane for Mike Trout over the last few seasons, but if the three-time MVP can remain healthy in 2025, the Angels can hope for a bounce-back season this year.
