LA Angels outfielder Mike Trout and his wife, Jessica, became parents again in June 2024, as they welcomed the younger brother of Beckham Aaron. They named the newborn Jordy Michael, and the toddler is already disturbing Jessica's furniture.
On Monday, Jessica reshared a sweet moment from a post in what she amusingly referred to as Jordy's "scritchy scratchy era." The Instagram story featured a short clip of a toddler scratching the surface of a couch and other items with its tiny hand.
Jessica captioned the post (citing similar activity from her six-month-old Jordy):
"Currently in our scritchy scratchy era 😂🥰."
The original post was from Sarah Herron, a TV star famously recognized as “Sarah Herron from The Bachelor.” The clip humorously captures the activities of her toddler's scratching activities, as she writes:
"Everyone talks about the newborn scrunch, but what about the 6-month scritchy scratchy? I want this sound added to the soundtrack of my life. ❤️" she wrote in her caption.
Mike Trout's wife Jessica's wholesome Christmas post dedicated to family
Mike Trout and Jessica celebrated their first Christmas with their newborn, Jordy. On the occasion of Christmas, she posted several images of the family's day together.
The Angels outfielder can be seen lifting his firstborn, Beckham, in the air while Jessica is carrying Jordy. The family struck poses in coordinated white outfits.
"The greatest gifts in my life are these people that I share it with. Merry Christmas from the Trout family!" Jessica wrote in the caption.
On the baseball front, Mike Trout aims to walk back to the plate after almost missing the entirety of the 2024 season (only 29 games played) because of a torn meniscus, which he aims to recover from during this offseason.
The Angels direly need the service of the three-time MVP's full-season availability if they want to make the postseason. Trout has already agreed to take on the DH role (which he initially was reluctant to do) to stay healthy this season.
Let's see if Trout's on-field life also sees a bright sunshine like his off-field life has following the birth of his second child.
