Los Angeles Angels star center fielder Mike Trout recently shared his excitement about a favorite Topps card that hasn’t even hit the market yet. This upcoming release is set to be one of the most exclusive baseball cards ever produced. The Topps revealed plans for their highly anticipated 1-of-1 edition, with the player's autograph, which would make it a true collector’s gem.

Topps has announced plans to release just a single copy of this rare card worldwide, likely tucked away in a future pack. Alongside Mike Trout, the exclusive 1-of-1 series will also feature cards for Shohei Ohtani and Albert Pujols. Kicking off 2025 in style, Trout took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of his one-of-a-kind card, giving fans a thrilling first look at the card.

"Excited to post my favorite 1/1 card on 1/1 day!" Trout wrote in an Instagram story.

Trout has an old relationship with the Topps, as he also made a video with his son Beckham opening the 2009 Bowman Draft boxes back in August 2024. The father-son duo was trying to pull out Trout's rookie card with his autograph, which was supposed to be rare.

"Can’t believe this just happened! Decided to pick up some 2009 Bowman Draft boxes to chase my rookie card with my son. There’s no better feeling than getting the little man into the card game at a young age, and pulling my own card with him made it more special," Trout said.

While going through each card in the deck, the Angels star found the 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Mike Trout Autograph, which is equivalent to the lottery for a lot of card collectors.

Mike Trout receives a souvenir from Philadelphia Eagles

Mike Trout has given a lot of things to his fans, being the famous MLB player he is. However, on Sunday, he was on the receiving end of it. Trout visited Lincoln Financial Field, where he witnessed the Philadelphia Eagles winning against the Dallas Cowboys by a 41-7 final score.

While Trout was enjoying the game in his front-row seat, he was approached by Eagles defensive back Darius Slay who delivered him a game ball. The video was posted on X/Twitter by the NFL.

Mike Trout has never shied away from expressing his love for the Philadelphia Eagles, and now it has been reciprocated in his direction as well.
