MLB All-Star Game 2024 tickets: When and how to buy tickets for this year's Mid Summer Classic

MLB All-Star Game 2024 is just over a week away as fans and players await the Midsummer Classic Event, which will be played at Texas Rangers home Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 16. Multiple contests and events are lined up before we conclude the All-Star week.

Those interested can buy the tickets on SeatGeek, with ticket prices ranging from $219 to $5,191 per ticket. The prices have been allocated based on where the seating is. The closer to the in-game action, the higher the prices.

Events lined up before the MLB All-Star Game 2024 on July 16

1) HBCU Swingman Classic, July 12

The festivities culminating in the 94th Midsummer Classic starts on July 12, Friday. The HBCU Swingman Classic will feature the top 50 college baseball players from Division-I Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), per MLB.com.

Ken Griffey Sr. and Lloyd McClendon will manage the two teams in this year's event. The athletes were chosen by a group that included Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. and members from MLB, the MLBPA, and other baseball scouting organizations.

2) Capital One All-Star Village, July 13-July 16

The event is a four-day fan festival that will have theme-based activities, batting cages for fans, photo opportunities, autograph signings and more. The fan festival will take place in a former Major League Ballpark – Choctaw Stadium.

3) All-Star Future Game and All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, July 13

Two back-to-back events are lined up on Saturday to kick off the three day festivities.

MLB's top prospects will compete in the Futures Game, which will start at 3:10 pm CT. Celebrities and MLB icons will compete in the Corona All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, which will start at 7:45 pm CT.

4) MLB 2024 Draft, July 14-July 16

The first night of the 2024 MLB draft will take place at the historic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth Stockyards. Future MLB stars will hear their name being called upon in the next three days.

5) All-Star Workout Day, July 15

Just a day ahead of the MLB All-Star game, a workout day will take place where fans will get to experience All-Star players taking reps on the field and batting practice.

6) MLB All-Star game, July 16
