We are inching closer to 2025 Spring Training and just like last year, two of Scott Boras's clients, Alex Bregman and Pete Alonso, remain a hot commodity on the free agent market alongside Jurickson Profar.

During Monday's appearance on MLB Network, analyst Yonder Alonso shared his prediction on where each of them lands.

Yonder Alonso predicts Pete Alonso to sign with Reds

With the New York Mets reportedly no longer interested in re-signing Pete Alonso, the first baseman's market has seen a major shift, and Yonder believes the NL Central's Cincinnati Reds could be a spot.

"I don’t think he stays with the Mets, and I don’t see him going to Toronto—Vlad’s at first base," Yonder said. "I’d really like to see him in Cincinnati. Look, if nothing gets done, he could take a short deal—maybe a two-year deal—go hit 40 home runs at Great American Ballpark and join that young core. That group wants to play every single day.
"That division is up for grabs. Can you imagine Pete Alonso in that division, taking it by storm with 40 home runs? Elly De La Cruz would score about 130 runs with Alonso hitting in the middle of that lineup. I like Pete Alonso in Cincinnati."

Yonder Alonso predicts Alex Bregman to sign with Blue Jays

According to Alonso, Alex Bregman's future is tied with St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado, who is a trade target this offseason. Amid the buzz that Arenado is open to be traded to the Red Sox, Bregman could find a home with the AL East's Toronto Blue Jays.

"Look, I think Nolan Arenado has a lot to do with where this guy (Alex Bregman) goes," Alonso said. "I really like the Toronto Blue Jays. You’re talking about a guy who’s been to the World Series twice, won the World Series, is a Gold Glover, and plays over 150 games a year. This guy will post, he’ll play third base for you, and he’ll bring that mentality—the dog mentality—you need every single day. I like this guy in Bregman.
"The Toronto Blue Jays, now with Santander and the rest of that group, would be a great fit. When you look at a long-term deal, it could be a four-year deal, a five-year deal, or even a three-year deal."

Yonder Alonso predicts Jurickson Profar to sign with Mets

Yonder Alonso believes if Jurickson Profar joins the Atlanta Braves, he could thrive alongside his Curaçaoan teammate Ozzie Albies. The Braves’ need for a left fielder and Profar’s versatility make this a perfect match.

"He’s a switch-hitting guy who’s going to be with his buddy, Albies, a Curaçao native. I like this move," Alonso said. "It’s a great ballpark for him. It’s hot, which he thrives in. He can play left field, where they don’t really have anyone right now. You put him in the middle of that lineup—maybe hitting second, fifth, or sixth—he’ll provide a little bit of power. He’s going to play every single day.
"I could see more of a Jurickson Profar who hits 20 to 25 home runs, drives in runs, and thrives on the big stage. He wants to be in that big stage with the Braves against the Mets or the Braves against the Phillies. That’s who Profar is."

It remains to be seen where all these premium sluggers end up signing. Do you agree with Yonder Alonso's predictions? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
