There are only nine games on the MLB slate today, which limits the options for Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) players. Fortunately, several good teams and good players are going to take the field. Even further, more than a few Cy Young contenders are slated to pitch, so here's who you need for your lineup.
Top Pitchers for MLB DFS June 27
Chris Sale ($11000 on DraftKings, $11400 on FanDuel)
Chris Sale is a potential Cy Young candidate, so the Atlanta Braves star should be in DFS lineups every time he starts. He is 10-2 with a 2.91 ERA and 107 strikeouts. He is also facing the Chicago White Sox, who are having a historically bad season.
Corbin Burnes ($9000 on DraftKings, $10100 on FanDuel)
Corbin Burnes is another pitcher who should be in DFS lineups if he's starting. The Baltimore Orioles ace is 8-3 with a 2.35 ERA. The Orioles offense is also good enough to get him a win almost every time out.
Zack Wheeler ($10000 on DraftKings, $10600 on FanDuel)
Once again, Zack Wheeler is a pitcher who should be in daily lineups every single time he's on the mound. Also an NL Cy Young contender, the Philadelphia Phillies star is 9-4 with a 2.73 ERA and 0.96 WHIP.
Top Hitters for MLB DFS June 27
Gunnar Henderson ($6300 on DraftKings, $4300 on FanDuel)
Gunnar Henderson has been excellent this season. He leads baseball in fWAR and is hitting .288 with a 1.005 OPS (third in MLB). The Baltimore Orioles shortstop is an MVP candidate, which is something you want in your DFS lineup.
Bryce Harper ($6200 on DraftKings, $3800 on FanDuel)
Bryce Harper is an MVP candidate in the National League, so the Philadelphia Phillies superstar should be in lineups. He is hitting .305 with 20 home runs, 57 RBI, and a .987 OPS.
Marcell Ozuna ($5900 on DraftKings, $4200 on FanDuel)
Marcell Ozuna has been one of the best hitters in baseball this year. The Braves DH is hitting .305 this year with 21 home runs, 64 RBI, and a .956 OPS. He's been excellent at the plate all season long.
Budget picks for MLB DFS June 27
Luis Rengifo ($4400 on DraftKings, $3100 on FanDuel)
Luis Rengifo is batting .308 this season for the Los Angeles Angels. He isn't providing much power, but that batting average makes him good value at this price range for DFS.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($4500 on DraftKings, $3100 on FanDuel)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has steadily gotten better as the season has gone along. The Toronto Blue Jays superstar has gotten his batting average up to a very nice .288. He also has 10 home runs and a .840 OPS, which is great at this price.
Jonathan India ($3500 on DraftKings, $2900 on FanDuel)
Jonathan India hasn't had the best season for the Cincinnati Reds, but he is still hitting .268 with a .764 OPS. Those numbers are both above average, which is good value in this range.
