The MLB season is officially right around the corner. Friday kicked off the start of Spring Training games. This is a fun time for baseball fans. It's an opportunity for fans to see their team's prospects in action for the first time.

There are a ton of questions heading into this 2023 season. Can the Houston Astros repeat as World Series champions? Is this the year of New York's baseball dominance with the offseason both the Yankees and Mets had? Baseball fans may be in store for quite the season.

The next couple of months are going to be baseball heaven for fans. They have Spring Training just getting underway, the World Baseball Classic to look forward to and then the MLB season starts.

After such a long offseason, being able to watch baseball games almost every day of the week starts now. We finally made it.

"My favorite sport is back!!!" one fan tweeted.
"It's beautiful" said another fan.

Not many fans get as excited for the preseason to start as baseball fans. They're ready to see greats like Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani take the field and shine.

There's nothing like baseball. The beauty surrounding the game truly makes it remarkable.

MLB will be implementing the new rule changes in the Spring Training games. Fans will be able to get a first look at how these rules will change the game as they know it.

One of the biggest rules coming into play this year is the implementation of the pitch clock. Pitchers will have 15 seconds to deliver a pitcher with no runners on base and 20 seconds with runners on base. Pitchers will only be allowed two pick-off attempts per batter. They could attempt a third pick-off, but if unsuccessful, the batter gets an automatic ball.

Another rule that will surely change how the game is played is the restriction on the defensive shift. Two infielders must be on each side of second base with their feet on the infield dirt.

Lastly, fans will see bigger bases. The bases closely resemble a pizza box now. It was put in place to reduce the number of collisions, especially at first and second base.

It will be interesting to see how fast players get adjusted to these new rules this season.
