The Rocket City Trash Pandas are the minor league affiliates of the Los Angeles Angels. They unbelievably lost a game against the Cincinnati Reds' affiliate team, the Chattanooga Lookouts, after giving away zero hits in the entire game.

The 7-5 scoreline baffled fans throughout the world. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts:

Angels take flack as Trash Pandas falter against Lookouts

The Rocket City Trash Pandas play in the Southern League and are the Double A-affiliates of the LA Angels. They gave the first no-hitter of the minor league season with starter Coleman Crow giving six scoreless innings with six K's to his name.

Where it went wrong was in the seventh innings, where the Trash Pandas brought in closer Ben Joyce. Going up to the mound, Joyce gave away three walks and a flyball that was dropped that counted as an error. The bases were loaded with just one out needed for the Trash Pandas.

Replacing Joyce, Eric Torres was brought in who was immediately charged with two runs off an error. Some wild pitches meant Torres gave away bases due to HBP (hit by pitch) and the go-ahead runs to give the Lookouts a 7-3 lead. He was able to secure the final strikeout and the Trash Pandas tried to mount a comeback, but it wasn't enough as the game ended 7-5.

Being part of the Angels organization meant the The Halos would themselves face mockery. Catching shade from the woes of an affiliate might seem excessive. However, their recent history of not making the playoffs, even with players like Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, allowed fans from other teams to troll them heavily.
