Injuries unfortunately happen quite often in the MLB. That's true in all sports, but several baseball-related injuries can be season-ending or can cost players a significant chunk of the lengthy season. This seems to especially be true of pitchers right now.
Every year, major players suffer injuries and have to sit on the bench for a while. Even last year, the eventual MVP in the American League missed basically the last month of the season. This year, the reigning AL Cy Young winner hasn't thrown a pitch.
So, here's all the latest injury updates. We will continue to update this as we get significant injury news for players around the league.
