MLB The Show 23: Differences in features and cost between Standard and Digital Deluxe editions

Fans can hardly hide their excitement for MLB The Show 23. The latest edition of PlayStation Studios' globally popular baseball video game is set to take to retail shelves everywhere on March 28.

The popular game's first edition debuted in 2006. Since then, subsequent versions of the franchise have sold millions of copies, with MLB The Show 22 selling 2 million.

One of the main reasons the franchise has been able to keep fans coming back year after year is their dedication to adding and expanding on the game's numerous features. The 2023 version of the game will be no different.

The Show 23 has broken down the features available to users based on the edition. The Standard Edition costs $59.99, features all traditional gameplay modes, and is available on older consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One as well as new ones like the PS5 and XBox X/S.

The Deluxe Edition of MLB The Show 23 costs $99.99 and comes equipped with a plethora of new features. Apart from four days of early access to the game, Deluxe Edition owners can expect:

  • 20 The Show packs
  • 25k Stubs
  • 5 Gold Choice packs
  • 1 Diamond Choice pack
  • 1 Ballplayer pack
  • Double daily login rewards
  • Cover athlete themed bat skin

Although some have asked if the Deluxe Edition is worth it for fans, it is truly one of the more comprehensive gameplay modes for any fan who is interested in checking it out.

In addition to the Deluxe and Standard modes, MLB The Show 23 features a third edition called MVP, which costs $84.99 and represents a scaled-down version of the Deluxe Edition.
