Japanese sensation Shohei Ohtani's another historic feat
Shohei Ohtani accomplished yet another remarkable milestone when he took the field against the Minnesota Twins. Ohtani became the second player in Angels history to achieve 80 Ks in the first ten starts of the season after striking out nine batters in six innings.
Shohei Ohtani's performance was a definite return to the form he showed at the start of the season. The Angels are now 8-2 in his starts, even though he only allowed one run and did not receive a decision. Ohtani only managed one hit and a walk in four plate appearances with the bat.
