The MLB weather report features a lot of rainouts today. Inclement weather has been wrecking the East coast and especially the Northeast. As a result, several games have been rained out already.

In fact, these games were canceled the day before as officials decided it wasn't even worth waiting to see what happened. They opted to cancel ahead of time and save everyone a trip to the ballpark.
This means that only six of the initially scheduled MLB games today are going to happen and one of them could end up being impacted by rain after all.

Fortunately, the MLB scheduled a day in between games this weekend, which has allowed most of the teams impacted to simply slide the game to Friday, April 7.

The Yankees, Phillies, Astros, Mets, Twins, Marlins, Orioles and Reds will all return to action tomorrow. Even though it's early in the season, an extra day off is always a good thing for teams.
The Phillies won't play today
There's currently no indication of whether or not rain will continue to impact MLB games tomorrow, but it's worth keeping an eye on, especially on the East coast.
