The World Series is finally (almost) here. On Friday, Oct. 25, the Fall Classic will commence. The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers will clash for the trophy, with Game 1 in LA. It is sure to be a matchup for the ages, and fans will want to follow along. Here's how they can stay updated.
World Series TV Schedule
The specific times for each World Series matchup have yet to be announced. They are expected to start at around 7 or 8 p.m. ET, depending on the location of the game.
Every game will be on Fox. The series begins on Oct. 25, with the full schedule as follows:
- Game 1: Oct. 25
- Game 2: Oct. 26
- Game 3: Oct. 28
- Game 4: Oct. 29
- Game 5: Oct. 30 (if necessary)
- Game 6: Nov. 1 (if necessary)
- Game 7: Nov. 2 (if necessary)
Alternatively, fans can stream the series on Fubo. This acts as a live television surrogate, but it costs $74.99 for the first month and $99.99 thereafter. However, there is a one-week free trial available. Unfortunately, unless the series wraps up in less than seven games, that trial won't cover the entire event.
World Series Radio
For those who prefer listening to the radio or have no other option, there are several options. Local broadcasts in New York and Los Angeles will be available for fans in those regions. ESPN Radio will also cover the Dodgers-Yankees matchup.
World Series Venue
Unlike the Super Bowl, the World Series is hosted by the participating teams. Out of the seven games, four will take place in one location, while three will be played in the other.
The Dodgers will serve as the hosts for this series, having the best record in baseball. The first two games will be held at Dodger Stadium, followed by three consecutive games at Yankee Stadium after a travel day.
Another travel day will occur, and the final two games will be held in Dodger Stadium.
