LA Dodgers star Mookie Betts' wife Brianna responded to the incident between her husband and a fan during Game 4 of the World Series. The incident occurred in the first innings on Tuesday when New York Yankees leadoff hitter Gleyber Torres hit a fly ball deep right. Betts caught the ball in front of the fence, but in a bizarre turn, a fan in the stands tried to take the ball from his glove.

Identified as Austin Capobianco, the individual tried to open Betts' fist while his friend, John Peter, attempted to grab hold of Betts' other arm. Nonetheless, the fans were ejected from the game.

Reports emerged that the pair had stated they would be allowed back into Yankee Stadium as Capobianco was a season pass holder. However, because of the backlash, the Yanks released a statement claiming they would not be permitted.

Brianna put up a story on her Instagram about the news of the two fans getting banned, agreeing with the decision.

"That was wild, man, that was really wild. I have never experienced something like that. I was telling my wife, that was like the second time in my life I've ever wanted to fight somebody. But I didn't, man. I don't know what he was trying to do, but he had to do what he had to do," Betts said.
