It's been a year to remember for Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts. The eight-time All-Star played an integral part in his club winning the World Series (the third of his career), while also adding another Silver Slugger to his impressive MLB resume.
Mookie Betts and his wife Brianna have been living their best lives since making the high-profile move to Los Angeles. The couple can be seen out on the town or sitting courtside at Los Angeles Lakers games.
The MLB power couple has recently been enjoying their post-World Series with a vacation in Japan, with Brianna Betts stealing the show. She made waves on social media after sharing a few snaps from their trip. In her latest post on Instagram, Brianna can be seen rocking a black leather jacket with a grey skirt.
She captioned the post:
"Less perfection, more authenticity."
Brianna and Mookie Betts first began dating in high school, going on to get both engaged and married in 2021. The couple have two children together, Kynlee Ivory Betts and Kaj Lynn Betts.
Together, Mookie and Brianna Betts have not only shared their love between themselves and their family, but that love and compassion has also extended to their community. The couple launched the 5050 Foundation, which helps build up the youth in the community by providing programs and education in various aspects that will help them develop and thrive.
Mookie Betts made a surprise visit to a Japanese school during his vacation with Brianna
Even though the couple is enjoying themselves on vacation in Japan, Mookie Betts made a surprise visit to an elementary school to spend some time with the kids and play baseball. The LA Dodgers have a massive Japanese fanbase thanks to the likes of stars such as Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and now Roki Sasaki on the roster.
Betts shared some tips and spoke with the children through the help of a translator. It was an interaction with the three-time World Series champion that the young children will likely not forget anytime soon.
Last season, Betts hit 19 home runs and 75 RBIs with a .863 OPS. The shortstop, along with his Dodgers teammates, will hope to win back-to-back World Series next season.
