Corey Seager and the Texas Rangers are headed to Miami to play a three-game series at LoanDepot Park. Joining him on this road trip is his wife, Madisyn, who explored Florida's beach culture and celebrated with the other partners of Seager's teammates.
On Thursday, ahead of their series that starts on Friday, Madisyn posted a selfie with her husband in the car.
"My cutie chauffer picked me up to take us to our fam away series!!! Hello Miami !" she wrote in the story.
In a series of pictures shared from their one-day Miami getaway, the Seager couple and their colleagues enjoyed a yacht party. The whole group carried on various in-house games and activities while enjoying the beauty of the shore.
Madisyn gushes over Corey Seager's hot home run streak
Corey Seager started the 2024 season on a slow note but of late, he has been hitting like a two-time World Series MVP.
The Rangers shortstop has hit eight home runs in his last eight games, including a multi-homer game against the Minnesota Twins. In his last three games, he has hit four home runs, and he hopes to continue this streak when he takes at-bat against the Marlins on Friday.
Madisyn also reposted a story acknowledging Seager's home run streak and added heartfelt emojis to it.
On May 18, Seager was hitting .238 but fast forward 10 games, his batting average has improved to .260 clips (almost .20 basis point increase).
“You just get better and better, right?” Seager said at the end of the Rangers' road trip in Minnesota. “You're just trying to always improve, and fortunately right now, I’m on the other end of [my early season skid]. It’s a lot of just how baseball goes.”
This is how baseball is in general. As a hitter, somedays you are just lost and on other days no one can stop you from crushing the ball. Corey Seager's surge is a prime example of that.
