New York Yankees fans delighted to see Carlos Beltran leave the YES broadcast team: "Worst commentator in YES history"

New York Yankees fans made no attempts to hide their relief on Twitter as soon as news broke of Carlos Beltran joining the New York Mets front office.

Beltran played for the Yankees between 2014 and 2016. He recently completed one year as an analyst with the YES broadcast team.

After hearing the news, Yankees fans on Twitter were scathing of Beltran's commentating skills and made no bones about it.

Carlos Beltran is back with the Mets

Carlos Beltran's second innings with the New York Mets will see him join their front office. He spent seven seasons with the club from 2005 to 2011, where he secured five MLB All-Star selections.

Beltran was also hired to succeed Mickey Callaway as the new Mets manager in November 2019. However, his involvement in the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal meant his managerial dream was cut short even before it started.
