Aaron Judge has one thing on his mind this season, and that's winning the World Series. He's happy with the talent that is around him, but there's one guy he'd like the team to call up.

That player would be Anthony Volpe. Volpe is the team's number-one prospect who's having a fantastic Spring Training. He's hitting .353 with a home run, three stolen bases, and a 1.097 OPS.

Judge wants the front office to call up Anthony Volpe. He thinks he has what it takes to help the team win now. Volpe has been battling Oswald Peraza and Isiah Kiner-Falefa for the shortstop position as well as second base. The Yankees recently made the decision to start Peraza at shortstop on Opening Day.

Peraza is a year older than Volpe and already has experience at the Major League level. He played in 18 games last season for the New York Yankees. This may have been the deciding factor for the front office.

"Make Aaron Judge the GM too," one fan tweeted.
"Cap knows ball," said another fan.

Fans couldn't agree more with Aaron Judge. They think Volpe is a guy that should be on the Opening Day roster. Even if he isn't an everyday starter, he would still bring value to the team.

They desperately want Brian Cashman to listen to Judge. Fans want to see the young guys get their shot.

Oftentimes, it seemed like the only shred of offense that came from the Yankees last season was from the bat of Aaron Judge. The team had periods where they struggled offensively. Players like Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Aaron Hicks, and Josh Donaldson all didn't produce much at the plate.

Anthony Volpe would help the offense a ton. He's regarded as having the best hit-tool out of anyone in the 2019 class. He would be good for 15 home runs a season while driving the ball to gaps and taking the extra base with his plus speed.

While the team has named Oswald Peraza the Opening Day shortstop, Volpe could see some time at second base, giving Gleyber Torres some rest. It wouldn't be shocking if he tried his hand at third base given the downfall of Josh Donaldson last season.

Fans will just have to wait and see if Anthony Volpe will help the Yankees in 2023.
