Former Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer is struggling to land a contract in the majors despite performing well in the Mexican Baseball League and being ready to play for a league minimum contract. Many analysts and GMs have chimed in on Bauer not getting attention, with some in favor and others against him returning.

Joining the fray on Tuesday was Bauer's former accuser, Lindsey Hill, who has used her social media platform to throw shade at the pitcher now and then. In her latest tweet, she explained why she felt no team has signed Bauer yet.

"He's not banned because he "exposed them," no one will touch him because of things like this on top of serving the longest domestic violence/sexual assault policy in history," Hill wrote on X.

Along with the tweet were two screenshots of accusations made against Trevor Bauer. Among those were accusations of the pitcher using illegal substances to gain a pitching advantage, the relationship between Bauer and his agent Rachel Luba, their association with Driveline and others.

Bauer was suspended for 324 games after sexual assault allegations were made against him, but it was later reduced to 194 games by the MLB on appeal. The lawsuits against him have either been settled, resolved, or dropped.

Trevor Bauer considering legal action if he doesn't get a chance soon in majors

After baseball historian Bill James warned MLB of an impending lawsuit coming the league's way if they don't encourage teams to sign Trevor Bauer, many fans reached out to the pitcher to ask if he was contemplating such a move.

"I’d really prefer not to go this route but if I continue being kept out of baseball as I currently am I may have no other choice. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and I’m allowed to return to my career that was taken from me over provably false allegations that never held any merit to begin with," Bauer wrote on X.

James claimed that MLB did not investigate the matter related to Bauer properly and may have left the door open to a potential lawsuit.
